The Services
-
Copywriting is just regular writing with a clear goal. Good copy transforms struggle into strategy with concise messaging and a distinct, consistent identity. Insightful and strategic copy eliminates uncertainty and introduces ease into every aspect of your operation. I write with understanding and excitement for who you are, why you do what you do, and why people should care.

The Work Flow
-
Schedule a call so we can have a few words. You’ll let me know what you’re looking for, and I’ll let you know how much I charge. We’ll figure out if we are excited about working together. Then, we'll set up a Strategy Call, where I delve deep into the how and why of your brand so I can write like I’m its godmother.
-
I vanish into a cloud of uninterrupted writing time. Depending on the size of the project, I usually reappear in your inbox after seven days.
-
I present you the copy, and you have a few days to pick it apart, lovingly stare, and give me a list of any edits you need. With edits in hand, I again enter into my cloud of uninterrupted writing time and deliver updated copy within two days.
-
We laugh, we celebrate, you pay me, you make a bajillion dollars, we promise to work together again and again forever and ever.
The Questions
-
It totally depends on the project and your needs. I’ve been known to write an intro email sequence for $750. But if you’re more interested in price than client experience and the quality of the work, may I gently suggest you move along?
-
If there is another copywriter you are obsessed with, please don’t let me stand in the way of love! But if you’re interested in working with a writer who is just as committed to a seamless client experience as elegant, precise copy, then I hope you stick around. And if we have a call and I think there is a better writer for you, I’m not going to hesitate to recommend them instead.
-
Ah, AI— the mysterious new writer in town. Is she evil? Is she a genius? Is she conscious? Regardless of where you stand with AI, it’s not going anywhere, and I think it’s irresponsible for any copywriter to ignore something this disruptive. I’ve experimented quite a bit with AI to determine where it can strengthen my work, and where it makes it crumble. So far, I view AI as a great tool for research, inspiration, and pulling the threads of your own creativity. I don’t use it to straight-up write copy…yet. And I’m not convinced it won’t rule us all one day.
-
Which way? As a copywriter, a gigantic part of my job is understanding your audience and what tone, voice, and cadence make the most sense to put out in the world. I will match my writing voice to what you need so don't worry, you'll always sound like you. But please know — if you’re a bubbly boss babe type, my inner Daria will be seething.
-
I aim to finish your copy in ten days. However, this depends on your timely response, the scope of the project, and any possible Global Nightmare Catastrophe we may face as a society—which would likely keep us both away from our keyboards.
-
Sure don’t darlin’—but I do insist on a smaller trial project before entering into a long-term retainer project. We don’t jump into the deep end with no floaties on here.
-
C’est Moi! It’s me. My name is Nora, and I run this corner of the copywriting realm. I work with a small team of editors, so I know I’m sending you copy free of typos or other silly little flaws.
-
I charge a 50% fee upon contract signing and the other 50% after project completion.
-
I deliver all my copy via Google Docs. If you are looking to upload to your various platforms, I am happy to act as a manager on your behalf—which could look like finding you a VA, setting timelines, and keeping them on track. Ask me about online business management if you need some tasks taken off your plate or don’t know what to do with your freshly baked Google Doc of copy.

The Story
-
Like all tiny goblins unleashed into the world, I was far more interested in bugs and worms than copywriting.
If you asked what I wanted to be, I was far more likely to respond with Mermaid — or possibly just show you my teeth…I was a weird one.
But as I grew and transformed into the solo business owner I am today, I saw that so many of us were failing and giving up—going back to full-time jobs we hated or trying to convince ourselves that online business was just a fun hobby.
All this failure stemmed from the same well of deep disdain and fear of marketing and advertising.
Nobody wanted to be too aggressive or sales-y—preferring to write a meandering email where you casually mention you have a little offer (for .43 cents! Please don’t worry about it if you want to buy, never mind actually, I don’t need to pay rent) instead of treating their services, products, and whole-ass business like what they were supposed to be: a way to thrive and make money in a world where making money is paramount to your well-being and ability to live life the way you want to.
So I poured lots of money and lots of time and lots of passion into learning what advertising, marketing, and branding actually were—and I discovered it’s more about what I love about the world—storytelling, relating to others, understanding and awe for all the cool people doing cool things… than it was about what I hate—snoozy cookie cutter proclamations, scammy offers that nobody wants, and getting to know people only so you can manipulate them later.
Now, as a somewhat grown goblin, I spend time on what interests me. Writing, art, and helping others create and thrive. Bugs and worms are still high on my list of interests, too.
